A Wellness Stay at Daylesford Organic

Outside Daylesford Organic, Winter 2026

When I think of wellbeing spaces that reset your mind and body, I think of Daylesford Organic. A special space in The Cotswolds and somewhere you’re guaranteed to feel wholeheartedly inspired by the little details of the farm, the sustainable fabrics in Bamford, and the invitation to honour the season.

How to have a Daylesford Organic overnight stay

The Fox at Oddington

There is nothing better than checking into a room and noticing endless small details within the first few moments. Everything was gorgeous. I loved having Bamford products to use during my stay, a good supply of organic decaf coffee and herbal teas, and natural materials wherever I scanned my eye. It meant I could pack lighter and added to the whole wellbeing experience. The village pub menu is inspired by Daylesford, so breakfast was a real warming treat before a crisp morning walk in the countryside.

Daylesford Organic Farm

We always allow more time than we think we need to spend at the farm. Yes, there are shops in London but it’s just not quite the same. It’s a spacious experience and everything feels intentionally curated to help you slow down. I gain a lot of inspiration from the simple foods, like tinned fish, beans, and olive oil, so I really take my time browsing all the sustainable options and thinking up ideas on how to use them. I picked up a bag of organic decaf tea to test at home and resisted the temptation to go from purely window shopping at Bamford, to adding another piece of knitwear to my January wardrobe. I’ll be back in Spring.

The Wild Rabbit

A La Carte Menu, The Wild Rabbit, Winter 2026

There was a moment at dinner where the power completely shut down. Nobody panicked and simply placed a few more candles in-front of our plates. It was the best part of the dinner. We were already lucky enough to be seated by the cosy, fire, so it just added to the homely, yet elevated experience I wanted out of a birthday evening.

The menu reflects everything I love about Daylesford, and I noticed it recently was recently recognised as ‘Sustainable Pub of the Year’ by the Top 50 Gastropubs awards.

Where to walk the next morning (and get Matcha)

I’m a January baby, I’m used to spending my birthday in the rain… but we lucked out again, and the weather was clear and dry. One of the prettiest walks, with the reward of a great matcha latte in the loveliest of towns, is Bourton-on-the-Water to Lower Slaughter. If you love to support small, independent businesses, I highly recommend Soul Bowl. I ended my walk with a traditionally prepared organic matcha latte. A delightful end to our Daylesford Organic inspired stay.
